    - In case of unavailability in mentioned hotels, alternate accommodation will be arranged in a similar category hotel.

  • Important Notes:

    ● Pony Ride at Sonamarg, Gulmarg and Pahalgam: It is not mandatory for guest to take ponies in Sonamarg, Gulmarg and Pahalgam to visit all the important tourist spots. All the major tourist attraction points are in close proximity so you can walk to those places. The rates the highly negotiable. Please bargain to your max.

    ● Pony Ride at Katra In Katra for pithu / palki / pony services Municipal Committee Katra has fixed the rates and they are displayed on the rate card outside their booking office at Banganga. If someone is over charging above the listed rates it is upto you how hard you can bargain.

    ● For Gulmarg - In the case of heavy snowfall, there will be a change of the vehicle in Tang Marg which is about 14 km before Gulmarg. Snow jeeps or chained vehicles will be used from there up to Gulmarg and back so clients have to pay an amount directly of INR 1600/- (for 1 vehicle / 7 passengers) for a return trip. Also, guest needs to pay directly for horse riding, Gondola rides second phase, zorbing or any other sports activity. We are unable to do any type of assistance while booking of these services due to local union norms.

    ● For Sonamarg - Guest need to pay directly for Horse riding, Thajiwas glacier and Zero point. We are unable to do any type of assistance while booking of these services due to local union norms.

    ● For Pahalgam - For horse riding and Baisaran Valley, guest needs to pay directly for these points. We are unable unable to do any type of assistance while booking of these services due to local union norms.

    ● Local Sightseeing - Sightseeing to Aru Valley / Betaab Valley / Chandanwari at Pahalgam will be by local taxi union only. Due to union outside vehicles cannot enter these places. The rates are highly negotiable if you wish to visit these places. You have to pay extra directly.

    ● Shikara Ride - In Srinagar if you are staying at the houseboat, Shikara Ride are complimentary, do not pay for the same.

    ● Rooms are big enough and can accommodate maximum 4 travelers (2 adults, 1 extra bed, 1 child for whom bed won't be provided)

    ● Fixed/ buffet meals will be provided at the hotels.

    ● Package rates are subject to change without prior notice.

    ● In case of unavailability in mentioned hotels, alternate accommodation will be arranged in a similar category hotel.

    ● In the month of May to August, there is lot of rush / traffic jams in the sector, request to be patient at the time of check-in / sightseeing.

    ● Heater Charges - Heater charges are not included in the package, you need to pay the same directly at the hotel. (Max 200 to 300 Per night or as per hotel norms which could be lesser than this.)
  • ● Any meals other than specified in inclusions

    ● Entry Fees for Boat Ride, Camera Fees, Pony Ride, Safari at Park, Water Sports ACtivities or any other Amusement Activities, etc

    ● Still camera/ Video camera charges

    ● Any travel insurance policy charges

    ● Any Porterage charges(Coolie charges) at Airport & Hotels tips, Laundry, Telephone Charges & all of the personal nature & meals & drinks not specified in the inclusions

    ● The vehicle will run only till the point it is allowed in a particular destination as per government or local body rules. If the guest wants to travel/visit beyond that point will have to arrange the local transport by him/her self on direct payment.

    ● Any extra cost incurred on behalf of an individual due to illness, accident, hospitalization, natural calamities, political disturbances, natural phenomenon, increase in the Airfare / Hotel tariff charges, private transfer, or any personal emergency, etc

    ● Anything not specifically mentioned in 'Inclusions' Column

    Booking:

    You are doing booking with Holidest Tours means you accept that you have read the complete package information and agree with booking terms & conditions, payment policy and cancellation policy. You accept the tour package and acknowledge that it fits into your budget and requirement and your payment will consider as acknowledgment that you satisfy with above information.

    On confirmation of booking your contract is with Holidest Tours. A contract exists between us when we confirm your all tour/travel services and have received the deposit amount from your end.

    Payment Policy:

    For the services contracted, Flight Fare and 25% booking amount of Ground Package Cost to initiate a booking if travel date is more than 30 days from the date of booking.

    Balance Payment:

    Balance payment is (excluding flight cost) to be made 15 days prior to the date of start of services or as per given installments. Any booking made within 15 working days of the date of services would be considered to be a late booking and for same the full and final payment is required to be made at the time of booking itself. Full payment is required before 15 days of the travel date.

    If the package is booked within 15 days of travel date 100 % amount of total tour cost after the all confirmation/holding regarding your booking. Full payment is required on confirmation of all services and before departure.

    Mode of Payment:

    Domestic clients can make payment using any of the following methods:-

    ● By Online Credit Card Payment (American Express / Visa / Master Card / Discover / Diners Club)
    ● By Online Debit Card Payment (by Master / Visa / Maestro)
    ● By Offline Credit Card Payment (American Express / Visa / Master Card / Discover / Diners Club)
    ● By Cash / Cheque / Demand Draft
    ● By Bank Transfer (RTGS & NEFT)

    We do also accept payments through PAYTM, Google Pay, Paypal, etc.

    Note:
    ● In case of payment through credit/debit card, standard bank charges would be levied over and above the total amount.
    ● All payments should be free and clear of any withholding tax and deduction.
    ● Bank charges, if any, for remittance (by remitting bank or by intermediary bank) would be strictly borne by payer.
  • In case, customer wishes to cancel his/her booking because of whatsoever reasons, including accident, sickness, or any other personal reasons, non-payment of the balance payment, the Company is liable to recover Cancellation charges from the Client. All the cancellations must be communicated in written.

    You or any member of your party may cancel their travel arrangements at any time. Written notification or an e-mail to that effect from the person who made the booking must be received at our office. The cancellation charges applicable are as per the published cancellation policy below:

    Cancellation Charges Per Person -

    ● More than 60 days - Registration / Booking Amount and Flight Fare if any

    ● 31 to 60 days before the travel date - 40 % of Total Ground Package Cost & Flight Fare if any

    ● 16 to 30 days before the travel date - 50 % of Total Ground Package Cost & Flight Fare if any

    ● 06 to 15 days before the travel date - 70 % of Total Ground Package Cost & Flight Fare if any

    ● 01 to 05 days before the travel date - 95 % of Total Ground Package Cost & Flight Fare if any

    ● On the day of departure or no show - 100 % of Total Tour Cost and Flight Fare if any

    Other Important Notes

    ● Flight cancellation as per Airlines Policy + Service Charge + Tax

    ● Cruise cancellation as per Cruise Policy + Service Charge + Tax

    ● Visa cost total non refundable once visa processed

    ● Payment is non refundable if hotels are non refundable

    ● The Company deserves the right to change the package cost depending on the economical status of the market as per the Government policy

    ● Services will be provided to the customers as mentioned in the booking voucher only

    ● Any complimentary services (If not provided) cannot be claimed in form of cash or alternative services

    ● Holidest Tours have the right to cancel your Invoice due to insufficient payment made by client before your tour starts

    ● In a tour package, no refund shall be made for unutilized services. It is on guest’s discretion whether to take service or not

    ● No refund will be made for any unused accommodation, missed meals, transportation segments, sightseeing tours or any other service due to Bad weather, ill health, Strike, Road Blocks or any other factor beyond our Control. Such unused items are neither refundable nor exchangeable.

    ● In case of any conflict in booking terms & conditions, the decision of Holidest Tours management would be final & binding.

    ● Holidest Tours can assist you in processing visa for international travel but can't assure your visa and in case of failure of visa process, the cancellation policy will be applicable and will be charged from client.

    ● Please note there is no contract between Holidest Tours and the client until the company has received initial deposit amount of specified tour package

    If you want to change your holiday plan

    After confirmation of services, if you wish to change your travel arrangements in any way (e.g. your chosen departure date or accommodation), we will do our utmost to make these changes but it may not always be possible.

    The advance payment and the invoice Number allotted to you, are transferable i.e. you can pass on your booking to any of your friends/ relatives by giving us 30 days advance notice before tour start date. Validity - One year. (Not applicable for flight or train bookings)

    Any request for changes must be in writing from the person who made the booking. All cost incurred due to amendment will be borne by you.

    Important - Check-in counters will close 3 hours prior to flight departure time. So make sure you are reaching airport before 3 hours of your flight departure.

    Things To Carry Along

    ● Clothing – 3-4 jeans / trousers, 5-6 Tops / Shirts / Kurta, In Winter carry a pair of Heavy Woolens and 1 jacket / sweater.
    ● Along with your necessary clothing and toiletries carry sun screen lotion, hand sanitizer, hats, sun glasses, sports shoes or comfortable footwear, umbrella / windcheater, camera etc.
    ● If you are on any medication, carry sufficient stock of the medicines with prescription.
    ● Mobile phone with appropriate charger and sim card
    ● Food supplements
    ● An extra bag to keep spare items in case of an emergency.
    ● NRI guests are requested to carry their Passport & VISA copy
    ● Document file – Keep all your documents like passport, ID, tickets, hotel vouchers, itineraries, passport, photos, debit and credit cards and visa etc. handy in a handbag or a file.

    On tour, Guest need to carry valid photo ID proof for each of the family members while travelling. Also submit a copy of the same at the time of booking.
